With the Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC emerging soon, we wanted to highlight how the dev team packed the iconic Castlevania essence into every inch of the DLC with a little teaser. The path from Undying Shores to The Mausoleum is straightforward. All of this content is shaping this up to be Dead Cell’s biggest DLC yet. Head back to the Undying Shores entrance with the cultist garb and it’ll open up. Fatal Falls launches January 26 for consoles and PC, and injects the already stellar experience with deadly new enemies, additional biomes, and, of course, a fresh arsenal of weaponry. Not only that, but there are also 20 new outfits coming to the game, so you can dress up as your favorite Castlevania characters as you explore Dracula’s castle. Dead Cells was one of 2018’s best games (and our favorite roguelike), and it has a big DLC arriving in just a couple of weeks. This includes the Vampire Killer, the Holy Water, and the Throwing Axe.
The DLC brings various new weapons to Dead Cells, all of which are iconic weapons from the Castlevania series. Thankfully, you won’t be venturing into Dracula’s castle unarmed. Obviously, one of them is going to be Dracula himself. Not only that but there will also be three bosses introduced to the game. Of course, they will also be facing a lot of new enemies, many of which are staples of the Castlevania series.

While going through this new storyline and biome, players will be able to listen to 51 Castlevania tracks, as well as 12 reimagined tracks. What is Dead Cells RogueVania: Intense 2D action with the adrenaline pumping threat of permadeath in a castle full of cuddly creatures. Players will be able to experience two new biomes, as well as a new storyline. As this is a full-blown DLC, we will be getting more than that.

This was a compatibility update that allowed the Fatal Falls DLC to be installed and played. After the initial announcement back in TGA 2022, we finally know the release date for the upcoming Dead Cells Return to Castlevania DLC. Version 2.2, officially the Fatal Falls Update, is a major update to Dead Cells that was released on the 26th of January 2021 to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch.
